  • ‘Jinzhouhong’is a new apple cultivar selected from‘Rose Red’，which belongs to the short shoot type of‘Delicious’. Its fruit shape is conic，the average fruit mass is 256.3 g，the largest is 320.4 g. The fruit skin is clean，covered by thick red color. Its flesh is cream white，crisp，juicy，sour-sweet，palatable，with a firmness of 8.6 kg ? cm-2，a soluble solids content of 12.80%. The mature time is in the middle of September in middle-south of Hebei Province. The main characteristic is disease resistance，high and constant yield，and the yield can be 45.0 t ? hm-2.

  • ‘Daihong’is a red-fleshed new apple cultivar suitable for both processing and eating，bred by‘Guifei’as female parent and‘Orin’as male parent. The fruit shape is suborbicular，and the average fruit weight is 234.0 g. The skin of the fruit is green，but the flesh is in red color，crispy and juicy，and in good balance of sugar and acids.‘Daihong’contains 15.40% of the total soluble solids content，0.56% of the total titratable acid，0.268 mg ? g-1 FW of anthocyanin，and its firmness is 9.03 kg ? cm-2. The average yield of 3-year old trees is up to 18.24 t ? hm-2.

  • ‘Jinfu 4’is a new medium-late ripening apple cultivar selected from the bud mutation of ‘Jinfu 1’. The fruit is oblong in shape and the averaged single fruit weight is 240.5 g. The fruit skin is glossy with yellow-green ground color and deep red over color. The flesh is juicy，sweet-sour，palatable and aromatic. The fruit is good in taste quality with a firmness of 8.91 kg ? cm-2 and a soluble solids content of 14.93%. The duration of fruit development is 150–155 d. The cultivar is easy-flowering，stable and productive，and the yield can reach to 46.58–48.62 t ? hm-2.

  • Pyrus pyrifolia‘Jinyu’derived from open-pollination of‘Annong 1’in 2005，is a new early ripening cultivar of sand pears. This new cultivar is medium vigorous and the tree has semi-spreading growth habit. The fruit shape is mainly round，and it has green peel and smooth surface without russet. Its flesh is white，crisp，rich juice，fine texture with TSS 13%. The fruit growth period is 125 d and it matures in late July to early August in Wuhan. Suitable pollinizer cultivars are‘Wonhwang’，‘Hosui’and‘Jinjing’. This cultivar has high yield and resistant to pear black spot.

  • ‘Zhongcui’，a new tetraploid pear cultivar，was selected from the bud mutation of ‘Cuiguan’pear. Its fruit traits are as follows：round or flat-round shape，green peel，as‘Cuiguan’in appearance，crisp flesh，nearly no stone cell，abundance juice，the average fruit weight 320 g，juice total soluble solid（TSS）12.6%，total sugar 72.3 mg ? g-1，organic acid 1.67 mg ? g-1. It matures from late July to early August in Shanghai. Flourishing time trees produce 22 500 kg ? hm-2.

  • ‘Ruiguang 51’is an early-ripening nectarine cultivar derived from the cross of‘94-1-40’× ‘Sunraycer’. The flower is showy with much pollen. Its average fruit mass is173 g，and the biggest one is 186 g. The shape of fruit is elliptic and the hue of over color is light red. The fruit has white，melting flesh. It tastes sweet. The soluble solids content is 12%. The stone is adherent to flesh. The fruit development period is 75 days. The trees are productive and low chill. The yield is up to 30 t ? hm-2.

  • ‘Zhongnong Hantao 2’is a new mid-early maturing and cold resistant peach cultivar，derived from the cross of‘Xiongyue Jutao’and‘Okubo’. Moderate growth potential，tree posture is extremely open. The fruit period is about 90 days. The fruit is round，the top is a little prominent，free stone，with average weight about 203.5 g. The flesh tastes extremely sour，with the soluble soilds content 9.5% and titratable acid content 0.78%. The rosy juice is stable with the juice yield is 69.5%. The new cultivar has the character of early bearing and stable harvesting，and its yield is 33 t ? hm-2 in the fourth year of engraftment. The new cultivar is not anti-waterlogging or tolerant for saline-alkaline，resistant to gummosis and scab. Additionally，it is suitable for cultivation in Huludao and the south with the high cold resistance. It is important to prevent and cure brown spot perforation.

  • ‘Chunhua’is a very early-ripening apricot（Prunus armeniaca Lam.）cultivar derived from the cross of‘Jintaiyang’בHonghebao’. The fruit is ovate in shape with freestone and bitter kernel，its ground color is yellow with flush in the sunward surface and flesh color is also yellow，its average fruit weight is 59.6 g and soluble solids content is 12.5%. It ripens in medium-May in Tai’an of Shandong Province and the fruit development period is about 55 d. The output is 23 512.5 kg ? hm-2.

  • ‘Qizao’is a very early ripening sweet cherry cultivar selected from seedling progeny of ‘Summit’. The trees have middle vigor，powerful budding force and middle branching ability. The fruits have widely cordate shape，deep red and bright skin and middle long fruit stem. The average fruit weight，soluble solids content and total acid content are 8.5 g，15.6% and 0.49%，separately. The fruit flesh is juicy and sweet. The cultivar is resistant to fruit cracking and high temperature in summer thus produces little malformed fruits. It is self-unfruitful with the S-genotype S1S9. Its fruiting stage is early. It has high fruit setting rate and high yield（13 188 kg ? hm-2）. The cultivar is suitable for sweet cherry producing areas in both southern and northern China. In Tai’an City of Shandong Province，the fruits mature in early May with the developing period about 40 days.

  • ‘Luying 3’is a mid-late ripening sweet cherry cultivar selected from seedling progenies of ‘Summit’. The trees have middle vigor，open shape，middle budding force and strong branching ability. Its fruits are big and widely cordate with deep red，bright skin and long stem. The average fruit weight，soluble solids content and total acid content are 12.1 g，17.1% and 0.68%，separately. The fruit flesh is hard with pleasant sweet and sour taste. The fruits are resistance to storage and transport and have a developmental period of about 52 d. In Tai’an of Shandong Province，the fruits mature in late May. The cultivar is early fruiting and high-yielding. The yield in full fruiting stage is over 10 878 kg ? hm-2.

  • ‘Huapu Zifeng’is a hybrid early-ripening table grape cultivar derived from‘87-1’and‘Cardinal’. Its average fruit cluster weight is 674.3 g，and the average single berry weight is 7.4 g. The berry is oval and red to purplish red，crisp and hard. The soluble solids content is 16.3%，the titratable acid content is 0.57%. It had a high yield（37.5 t ? hm-2），early bearing. It is suitable for early budding culture in protected cultivation and open field cultivation of arid and semi-arid such as Huludao.

  • ‘Senmao 2’is a new early-ripening northern highbush blueberry（Vaccinium corymbosum L.）cultivar selected from natural hybridization seedling of‘Sunrise’seeds. The average fruit weight is 3.16 g and the biggest one is 4.20 g. The yield of its 3-year-old plant is 12 617 kg ? hm-2，which is 20% higher than that of‘Sunrise’. The fruit shape of‘Senmao 2’is oblate，its fruit powder is thick and uniform texture. The picking scar is small and dry. The fruit firmness is very good，and the average value is 4.5 kg ? cm-2，which is beneficial to storage. Its total sugar（in terms of glucose）is 0.055 g ? g-1，and total acid（in terms of citric acid）is 2.9 mg ? g-1.‘Senmao 2’has high sweetness，and low acidity. It has good taste and rich flavor，which is suitable for fresh market.

The picking scar is small and dry，the fruit firmness is very good，which value is 4.0 kg ? cm-2. The fruit powder is thick，and it stores very well. The sweetness is high，and the acidity is low. It has good taste and excellent flavor，which is suitable for fresh market.

  • ‘Lujin’is a new walnut cultivar derived from the cross of‘Lüxiang’בXiangling’. The nut is round in shape and the average nut weight is 13.1 g. The nut shell is smooth and the walnut husk thickness ranged from 0.8 to 1.0 mm. It is easy to take out the whole kernel for degraded dissepiment. The shell has convex sutures which are tight. The kernel is full and plump. The color of kernel is light yellow and it tastes fragrant. The kernel rate，total fat and protein content are 60.2%，70.2% and 20.6%，respectively. The yield is 3 085.5 kg ? hm-2 in the seventh year after grafted on‘Jizhaomian’.

  • ‘Huayu Wuhe 1’is a new seedless triploid loquat cultivar selected from the seedlings of ‘Changbai 1’. The fruit is obovate or long obovate. The average fruit weight is 62.0 g. Its flesh is soft，faint yellow，and tasted juicy，moderately flavorful. The total soluble solids content is 13.3% and edible rate is 84.6%. The fruits ripen in mid-to-late May. It has high yield，and 10.7 t ? hm-2 fruits can be produced by three years old trees.‘Huayu Wuhe 1’is suitable to be planted in producing areas of loquat at elevations below 400 m.

  • ‘Jinhua 2’is a new red-fleshed and few-seed loquat cultivar selected from the seedlings of ‘Longquan 1’. The fruit is obovate. The average fruit weight is 38.0 g. Its soft flesh is salmon，and tasted juicy，sweet and sour. The total soluble solids content is averagely 15.0%，and high to 17.0%. The total sugar content is averagely 124.5 mg ? g-1 and high to 151.2 mg ? g-1. The fruit ripens in early May. It has steady yield（11.5 t ? hm-2）.‘Jinhua 2’is suitable to be planted in regions such as Chongqing，Sichuan，Jiangsu and Zhejiang at elevations below 400 m.

Its flesh is salmon，and tasted delicate，juicy，sweet and sour. The total soluble solids content is 13.5%. The fruit ripens in early May. The cultivar is high resistant to blossom blight. And no fruit cracking，fruit crinkle disease and sunscald was founded. It has steady yield（8.3 t ? hm-2）.‘Jinhua 3’is suitable to be planted in each producing areas of loquat at elevations below 400 m.

  • ‘Zhongshiliu 8’is a new soft-seed pomegranate cultivar from the progenies of ‘Tunisruanzi’בZhongshiliu 1’. The average single fruit weight is 454 g，the longitudinal diameter is 87.62 mm，and the transverse diameter is 94.68 mm. Its fruit skin and aril are pink red. The weight of one hundred aril is 58 g. The aril is crystal clear，sweet and delicious.‘Zhongshiliu 8’contains 15.5% of the total soluble solids content，0.22% of the total titratable acid，7.52 g ? kg-1 of the total amino acid，12.9 mg ? kg-1 of vitamin C，and the seed hardness is 1.55 kg ? cm-2. The fruit is ripening in late September in Zhengzhou City，Henan Province. The early yield of the cultivar is good. The average yield of 3-year-old trees is 12.2 kg，and the average yield of 4-year-old trees is 24.5 kg.

The average fruit weight is 33.8 g and the largest fruit weight is 56.0 g. It has red peel and bright luster. It is tolerant to storage and transportation. The contents of soluble solids，vitamin C，total reducing sugar and total titratable acid are 8.6%，0.805 mg ? g-1，4.3% and 0.63%，respectively. The fruit firmness is 3.11 kg ? cm-2. The yield is 43.5 t ? hm-2.

  • The‘Qinchun 2’is a mid-early maturing and anti-bolting Chinese cabbage cultivar. It’s growth period is 68 d. The plant is semi-erect. It’s outer leaves is green，and the leaf wrinkle and strobilus are yellowish holding together in the middle，with longitudinal diameter 28.6 cm，transverse diameter 18.3 cm and spherical index 1.56. The weight of a single ball is 2.79 kg，the net vegetable rate is 67.79%，and the yield is 86.8 t ? hm-2. It is suitable for spring protected cultivation，open cultivation maturing in advance and alpine off-season protected cultivation，because it resist virus，downy mildew and clubroot.

  • ‘Jinpin 75’is a new autumn mid-maturing cauliflower cultivar，developed by combining cytoplasmic male sterile line‘08ZF-66’as the female parent and self- incompatibility line‘08FR-87’as the male parent. The plant type is erect and compact with upright，dark green outer leaves， having excellent curd-protecting ability. Curds are compact，round，non-hairy，with snow white color. Individual curd weight is 1.30 kg. In autumn，transplanted plants maturity time is 70–75 days. The average yield is 52 500 kg ? hm-2.

  • Cauliflower cultivar‘Ousong 90 d’is a new loose-curd medium-maturing F1 hybrid crossed by cytoplasmic male sterile line‘12y-TDXG100-1’as female parent with inbred line‘03SM80-1’as male parent. It has strong vigor of growth with good uniformity，thick waxy and grey green leaf，and it needs about 90 days from planting to harvest in autumnt. The plant height and plant width of the cultivar is about 63.9 cm and 94.4 cm respectively. The curd of the cultivar is round，white，smooth in surface，and has light green peduncle. The curd is good in quality，25.6 cm in transvers diameter. The average weight is 1.75 kg. The new cultivar is suitable for planting in autumn in Zhejiang. The average yield is 32.58 t ? hm-2.

It is a medium-early maturing cultivar with vigorous plant growth and strong erectness. It grows fast and can be harvested about 40 days after sowing. Its leaves are round and pointed，flat，dark green，bright and lustrous，and thick，and the average yield amounts up to 17 000 kg ? hm-2. It has resistance to downy mildew and bolting in field trial，and is suitable for cultivation in protected and open fields.

The shape of fruit is long cylindric，the average fruit length is 32.4 cm，the fruit width is 6.0 cm，and the fruit weight is 320 g. Its peel color is purplish black with smooth surface. Its calyx is green. It has good commodity with high storage and transportation. The average yield is 64.18 t ? hm-2. Its appropriate cultivation area is in the east，central，northeast and southwestern China valley.

It has middle resistance to bacterial wilt. It is suitable for cultivation in open field in spring and autumn in South China.

  • ‘Jinxing 1371’is a new tomato hybrids with infinite growth type，derived from‘Aonuo-1F8’בJunong-3F6’. The fruit is slightly flat and round，the bracts are flat，the handle is middle length. The young fruit has no green shoulder，and the single fruit weight is 180–220 g. Its matured fruit is red with uniform colour，high hardness，sweet and sour taste，high commodity rate. The cultivar has high resistance to bacterial leaf spot，leaf mold，blight and verticillium wilt，mild viral disease.‘Jinxing 1371’has strong heat and cold resistance，moderate suffocation，and intolerance to drought. The fruit is resistant to cracking and is suitable for cultivation in the open field，the output was 80 500–97 000 kg ? hm-2.

  • ‘Jinfen 101’is a new tomato cultivar developed by cross of‘HT52-1’and‘TML-56’as female and male parent，respectively. It is characterized by the indeterminate growth habit，the first inflorescence at 7–8 nodes with 5–6 flowers per cluster. Fruits are smooth，round，and an attractive uniform pink color with 199 g an average weight per cluster and having a thick pericarp resulting in long shelf life. The better quality fruits contained 0.1239 mg ? g-1 vitamin C and 1.35% total soluble sugar. It is mid-early maturity within 185 d life span，first picking 75 d after transplanting. The average fruit yield was about 100 000 kg ? hm-2. It also possesses high resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus. It is suitable for cultivation under both open-field conditions in Northern and Western China，and greenhouse conditions in Central and Eastern China as well.

The fruit has smooth surface，light green color，slightly spicy taste，with an average yield about 67 500 kg ? hm-2. It is suitable for early spring，late autumn cultivation in North and Northwest China.

  • ‘E-Shuailiang’，a new pepper cultivar，was based on THI-P-10-2 and P5114-3 as the parents. The string-shaped fruits are deep green in color，smooth in the fruit surface，crisp，slightly spicy. The longitudinal and transverse diameters of fruit are 22–24 cm and 1.8 cm respectively. The average fruit weight is 18 g. The flesh contains 1.14 mg ? g-1 vitamin C，0.11% capsaicin，1.40% protein. The cultivar shows the middle resistance to CMV，anthracnose and bacterial spot，and intermediate heat resistance in the field. It is suitable for open cultivation，semi-forcing or forcing cultivation in Hubei Province，with the yield more than 52 500 kg ? hm-2.

It has strong branching ability and good fruits setting；the first flower is in the 7–8th node. The fruit is long lantern-shaped，slightly spicy，thin and crisp，slightly wrinkled. The fruit is 15–16 cm in length，5–6 cm in shoulder width，0.26 cm in flesh thickness，79.6 g in weight per fruit and 59 190.0 kg ? hm-2 in yield. It has high yield and good production efficiency in the early stage. It shows good tolerant to low temperature and low light，and resistant to sunburn，anthracnose and virus diseases. It is suitable for the protected cultivation in the regions of the Yangtze-Huaihe and Huaihe-Huanghe rivers.

  • A new pepper hybrid‘Chunzao 1’is developed by crossing two inbred lines‘2014X12’and‘2014X46’. As an early maturing hybrid，the first flower node is 7–8. The shape of fruit is long lanky lantern，14.5 cm in length，4.8 cm in width，and 0.27 cm in flesh thickness，72.5 g in weight. The fruit is light green in immature and slightly spicy. The yield of fresh fruit is up to 58 560 kg · hm-2. It is highly resistant to anthracnose，resistant to TMV and moderately resistant to CMV in field investigation. It is tolerant to low temperature and weak light and fit for protected cultivation in spring in Jiangsu and Shandong provinces.

  • ‘Linyu 1’is a new konjac cultivar bred from Amorphophalls muelleri varieties populations by systematic breeding method. The corm epidermis is light reddish-brown in color and flesh is yellow-white in profile. The petiole is smooth during the period of corm growing. The color of the petiole base is yellow-green，with irregular patches，patch color from base，middle to top from brown-green to light-green gradient. It yields 58.5 t ? hm-2 and has good disease resistance. The incidence of soft rot was less than 1.5%. The corm has 48.5% dry matter，which has 43.96% konjac glucomannan（KGM）and 15 600 mPa ? s viscosity. It is suitable for planting in high temperature and humidity environment in low altitude areas of Yunnan.

  • ‘Yunshu 306’，a new fried potato chips cultivar，was developed from a cross between‘Cooperation 88’as female and‘Chunshu 3’as male. The tuber has oval shape，red skin，light yellow flesh，and shallow eyes. Dry matter content 19.60%，tuber starch content 14.10%，reducing sugar content 0.14%，crude protein content 1.84%，vitamin C content 0.385 mg ? g-1 FW.‘Yunshu 306’is middle late maturing，the growth period is about 91 d. It is resistant to late blight，medium susceptible to viral disease and bacterial wilt. The yield is 30 000–34 000 kg ? hm-2. It is suitable for winter planting in Yunnan，Guangdong，Guangxi，Fujian and other provinces.

  • ‘Yuetian 29’is a good quality single cross hybrid of sweet corn developed by crossing‘JinH-1’as a female parent with ‘XinM508’as a male parent. The hybrid showed performance in yield，ear appearance，palatability and adaptalility，etc. The common output amount is 12 274.5–12 588 kg ? hm-2，the cylindrical ear was about 299.7 g in weight and 20.4 cm in length and 4.9–5.0 cm in diameter，the kernels were bright golden yellow and crisp with 20.0%–21.3% soluble sugar. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in Southern China.

  • ‘Bobao’is a new fresh-eating sweet corn cultivar, which is made up of white-grain inbred line ‘T639’and yellow-grain inbred line‘T891’. The plant is semi compact，with strong growth potential，good green holding at late stage. Plant height is 210 cm and spike position is 75 cm. The panicle is conical with yellow-white grains，20.5 cm in length，5.2 cm in width，and the bract leaf is relatively complete. It has excellent quality with soluble sugar content of 12.6%. It has strong adaptability and good yield. The fresh panicle yield is 19 237.5 kg ? hm-2 when the planting density is 45 000 plants ? hm-2.

  • Lentinus edodes‘Jixiang 15’is a new mid-early maturing，medium-large and tough texture cultivar bred through monosporous hybridization of early maturing，wide-temperature cultivar‘868’and tough texture cultivar‘L808’.‘Jixiang 15’can produce fruitbody from 7 to 28 ℃，the optimum temperature is 12 to 22 ℃，the fungus age is 95–100 days. The number of primordium is 10–15. Fruiting bodies grow in the same period. The new cultivar is characterized by good quality，high yield，and biological efficiency is 130%. It is suitable for Lentinus edodes bags cultivation in Hebei Province and similar climate areas.

The flesh is crisp. The sugar content is more than 12.5% in the core of the fruit. The average fruit weight is about 0.8 kg. The yield is 45 000–60 000 kg ? hm-2. It has good resistance to low irradiance and temperature，and it is suitable for facilitating cultivation and delayed planting in the area along the Huaihe River.

The fruit weight is 1.20 kg，the peel thickness is 0.50 cm and the pulp thickness is 2.31 cm. The central soluble solids content is 16.8%. Medium resistance to powdery mildew，moderate resistance to downy mildew. This cultivar is suitable for protected cultivation in spring and fall in Hubei Province.

  • Chrysanthemum morifolium‘Fukan Fanxing’is derived from the hybrid progenies of C. morifolium‘Honggui’as the female parent and C. morifolium‘15-2 OP You 6’as the male parent，which is compacted and can be used as garden landscaping and potting. The plant is low，with a plant height of 32–40 cm and crown of 45–53 cm. It has many branches. It does not need to be trimmed and grows in a hemispherical shape. The main color of the inner part of the ray floret is yellowish（Yellow group 11B）. The inside of the small flower has Red purple 67C spot and stripe distribution. The flowers are dense. The surface of the crown is not exposed during the whole growth period，and it is characterized by lodging resistance. The natural flowering period is from early October to late October. The most suitable growth areas are most of the North China region，the central part of the northwestern region and the southern part of Liaoning Province.

  • ‘Milian’is a new cultivar selected from the natural hybrid progenies of Iris sanguinea f. albiflora. The flower of‘Mi Lian’is bigger and the diameter is about 9.89 cm. The three inner perianths of ‘Milian’tilt upward about 30°，the three spoon-type part of outer perianths open almost horizontally. Flowering time is from mid June to early July，and fruiting time is from August to September.‘Milian’grows well over the winter in the open area in Harbin，it’s suitable to be applied in the north area of China.

The average plant height of the cultivar is 67.0 cm and width 60.5 cm. The green inflorescence is erect，and its average length is 60.0 cm with 4 red flowers with fragrant smell. The flower is 16.0 cm in average diameter. The flower is double with 17.0 petals. The full-blossom of a inflorescence is 22.0 d in March to April and the lifetime of a single flower is 9.5 d.

  • ‘Sweet Princess’is a new cultivar of Cymbidium developed by crossing two strains of female parent Cymbidium goeringii and male parent C. serratum. This cultivar inherits the fine qualities of its parents and has green and thick petals and sepals from C. serratum and the aromatic scent from C. goeringii. The inflorescence is upright，with 1 flower，12–18 cm in length. The petals are ovate，light-green with a dark-green midrib，1.5–2.5 cm in average vertical diameter and 0.8–1.2 cm in transverse diameter. The lip is white or pink with purple-red markings，its average length is 1.5–2.5 cm. The column is yellow-greenish. The flowering period is in late December to the middle to late January next year and lasts for about one month. This cultivar is characterized by strong growth vigor with a lengthy period of flowering and high ornamental value，which gives the broad prospects of commercial application.

  • ‘SCBG Ziguang’is a new cultivar of Paphiopedilum developed by tissue culture of a seed crossed from two excellent strains of female parent Paph. charlesworthii and male parent Paph. ‘Blacklight’. This cultivar is characterized by strong growth vigor. The surface of leaves of the cultivar is yellow-green and the undersurface of leaves is purple. The dark-purple inflorescence is nearly erect with thick hairs，its average length is 12.3 cm with an purple-red flower，9.4 cm in average transverse diameter and 7.7 cm in vertical diameter. Middle sepals are nearly round and their sides roll back. Deep-purple petals are spoonful and curly. Labellum is helmet-shaped and deep-purple. The full-blossom is in March and the lifetime of a single flower is 40 to 45 d.

  • ‘SCBG Zijun’is a new cultivar of Paphiopedilum developed by tissue culture of a seed crossed from two excellent strains of female parent Paph. charlesworthii and male parent Paph. ‘Blacklight’. This cultivar is characterized by strong growth vigor. The surface of leaves of the cultivar is yellow-green with irregular dark-green stripes. The dark-purple inflorescence is nearly erect with thick hairs，its average length is 15.1 cm with an pinkish-purple flower，8.6 cm in average transverse diameter and 8.7 cm in vertical diameter. Middle sepals are nearly round and their sides roll back. Yellowish-brown petals are spoonful and curly in lengthways. Labellum is helmet-shaped and yellowish-brown. The full-blossom is in March and the lifetime of a single flower is 40 to 45 d.

The leaves are light-green with intensive grid plaques. Single flower lies in a inflorescence with the yellow-green color，and the flower is beautiful，delicate and waxy. This hybrid cultivar has high seeds germination rate and wide adaptability，excellent view of flowers and leaves，the flowering period is from March to May and the lifetime of a single flower is 28 to 32 d.

  • Nelumbo‘Da Huangfeng’，a new cultivar of ornamental lotus，was bred from Nelumbo ‘Ai Jiangnan’（Asian-American hybrid）× N. lutea‘DP23’（a narrow petalled）by artificial hybridization. When planted in 0.6 m2 pot，‘Da Huangfeng’is a medium-large（100 cm high）plant with slight yellow and single flower. Leaf area is 25–43 cm × 23–37 cm，flower density is 9–14 per pot and flower stalk is 100–160 cm high，which is higher than that of leaf. The number of flower petals is 24–25 and its flower diameter could reach 26–29 cm. The green-ripening receptacle is umbel or oblate shaped. The rhizomes expand cylindrically. The new cultivar blooms from June to August in the Yangtze River region of China.

  • The new cultivar of waterlily‘Fen Dai’was bred from the seedlings of a famous waterlily named‘Ostra’. It is a large plant with double petals of radial shape and light pink color. The flower has 80–100 petals，16–19 cm in diameter，10–17 cm in emergence height above water and 4 sepals. The leaves surfaces are green with some irregular purple-brown patches and the shape of the leaf is oval with marginal serrations. The average leaf area is 36 cm × 33 cm.‘Fen Dai’is a tropical waterlily and can cross the winter naturally in Nanning.

  • The new cultivar of waterlily‘Hong Fen Jia Ren’was bred by hybridization using‘Ostrat’as mother plant and‘Bull?s Eye’as father plant. It is a large plant with semi-double petals of stellate-star shape and pink color. The flower has 30–40 petals，14–17 cm in diameter，15–19 cm in emergence height above water and 4 sepals. The leaves surfaces are green with some irregular purple-brown patches and the shape of the leaf is oval with marginal serrations. The average leaf area is 40 cm × 35 cm.‘Hong Fen Jia Ren’is a tropical waterlily and can cross the winter naturally in Nanning.

  • ‘Yinfei’，a new Carex giraldiana cultivar，was obtained from parental Carex giraldiana seeds by 60Co-γ ray radiation breeding. Parental Carex giraldiana was introduced from the top of a mountain national Forest Park. Its leaves are silver-white on the edges，green in the middle and distinctive in leaf color. The texture of the upright leaves is more delicate，with beautiful clusters and good ornamental qualities.‘Yinfei’has the characteristics of strong shade resistance，extensive management，and no pests and diseases were found.‘Yinfei’is suitable for cultivation in Beijing. It has broad application prospects in the understory，slope，ecological restoration areas and other places.

  • ‘Taihang Fuxing’，a new Rhododendron cultivar，was obtained from‘Shanhu Gongzhu’mutation. It is broad-leaved evergreen plant，while 3-year-old tree height is 60–70 cm，crown breadth is 45–55 cm. The leaves were long oval. The inflorescence is terminal. The separate parts of flower crown as petals ornamentation is brown，the top is circular and lavender. The flower diameter is 5.0–6.0 cm，while the biggest is up to 7.0 cm，the first time of florescence was from April to May. It is suitable for protected cultivation in Hebei. It has application prospects in potted ornamental flowers.

  • ‘Duojiao’is a new natural bud mutation crabapple cultivar which was selected from Malus spectabilis‘Riversii’. The cultivar has strong tree vigor and upright tree appearance. It has strong branching ability，its one-year-old branches are purple-brown. The newly unfolded young leaves are red yellow，young leaves are yellow and mature leaves are dark green. Flowers of the cultivar are red at full balloon stage whlile blooming flowers are pink. It is suitable to be planted in North China and other places.

  • Sophora japonica‘Qingyun 1’is a fast-growing new cultivar discovered in the natural seedlings of Sophora japonica. The tree is beautiful with straight and dark green trunk. The growth rate of plant height and diameter at breast height（DBH）was significantly higher than that of normal Sophora japonica with 2.58 times and 3.02 times respectively in 1 year old seedlings. Sophora japonica‘Qingyun 1’is an excellent urban greening tree. It can also be used as an excellent rootstock for grafting Sophora japonica f. flavi-rameus.

  • ‘Yuhuang’is derived from the variation of the natural hybridization of the Cinnamomum caphora cultivar‘Yongjin’. The new leaves are goose yellow，and turn to yellow or light yellow when they are mature. The flowers are yellow. The shoots are red，and turn to light red after semi-lignification，then become yellow or brown after suberification. Peel of young fruit is light yellow，pedicel and fruit carpopodium are yellow. The leaves and flowers of the cultivar are vivid，trunks and branches are dazzling，and the color change with seasonal aspect. The cultivar has high ornamental value and application prospect.

Its racemes cluster in the axilla on the top of branches，and the flowering period is from March to May，and the fruit period is from November to January. The‘Wanzihong’plants grow luxuriantly and have the characteristics of cold resistance and a certain shade tolerance，which are suitable for cultivation in temperate，cool and humid areas.

  • Kandelia obovata was introduced from Jiulongjiang Estuary Mangrove Nature Reserve，Fujian to Longgang，Zhejiang in 2003. A new Kandelia obovata cultivar‘Longgang’has emerged since its introduction to this low temperature region in southern Wenzhou and Taizhou. It exhibits features of vigorous growth and cold resistance in the medium and high tidal flats. Current afforestation with Kandelia obovata cultivar‘Longgang’seems plausible for Wenzhou and southern Yuhuan，Zhejiang，with winter temperature above–4.5 ℃.

  • ‘Yuntai’is a new Olea europaea cultivar selected from the Beihe Oil Olive Garden in Xichang，Sichuan Province. The cultivar has strong early-setting，high and stable yield and high oil content. The average weight of single fruit was 3.34 g，and the average oil content of fresh fruit was 22.03%，of which oleic acid content was 77.41%. The fruit matured from mid-September to early October. The cultivar has strong cold resistance to the main diseases and insects of oil olive，such as flies，peacock spot disease and verticillium wilt disease. Planting the two-year-old cuttage seedlings，it flowered and fruited in the next year. In the fifth year，it entered the peak fruit stage. Average yield per plant was over 8.06 kg and the average yield was over 6 649.5 kg ? hm-2. It is mainly suitable for cultivation in Anning River Basin and Bailongjiang River Basin，especially suitable for hot river valley.

  • ‘Dian Lamu 1’is a new cultivar selected from the Moringa oleifera cultivation group introduced from Taiwan，China. The petiole，flower stalk and torus are red，and the petals are white from November to February，with irregular blush in the middle. The yield of flavonoids and polyphenols in flowers was higher than that of leaves，which was 2.4 times and 2.1 times that of leaves. It is suitable for planting at an altitude of less than 700 m，with rainfall of 500–600 mm，annual average temperature above 19 ℃，and it is best for planting in dry-hot valley areas such as Yuanjiang and Yuanyang where the annual average temperature is above 22 ℃.
