Abstract: ‘Yunshu 306’，a new fried potato chips cultivar，was developed from a cross between‘Cooperation 88’as female and‘Chunshu 3’as male. The tuber has oval shape，red skin，light yellow flesh，and shallow eyes. Dry matter content 19.60%，tuber starch content 14.10%，reducing sugar content 0.14%，crude protein content 1.84%，vitamin C content 0.385 mg ? g-1 FW.‘Yunshu 306’is middle late maturing，the growth period is about 91 d. It is resistant to late blight，medium susceptible to viral disease and bacterial wilt. The yield is 30 000–34 000 kg ? hm-2. It is suitable for winter planting in Yunnan，Guangdong，Guangxi，Fujian and other provinces.
