Abstract: A new Pieris formosa cultivar‘Wanzihong’was selected from seedlings. It has red or purple-red new leaves，orange-red，orange-yellow and dark purple mature leaves. Its racemes cluster in the axilla on the top of branches，and the flowering period is from March to May，and the fruit period is from November to January. The‘Wanzihong’plants grow luxuriantly and have the characteristics of cold resistance and a certain shade tolerance，which are suitable for cultivation in temperate，cool and humid areas.
