  • ‘Pingjin’is a new apple cultivar hybrid selected from‘Fuji’בSakatakei Tsugaru’. The fruit shape is cone,the average fruit weight is 255 g,shape index is 0.85. The fruit is covered by red with stripes on a yellowish background. The flavour is rich with a moderate sweet-soured taste. The flesh is pale yellow and characterized by crispness and juiciness with 15.0% soluble solids content,0.29% titratable acid and 7.5 kg · cm-2 firmness.‘Pingjin’is characterized by excellent appearance,aromatic flavour,high quality,early-bearing and high production.

  • ‘Hongguang 3’is a new bud mutant selected from‘Ralls’apple. The cultivar grows robust and strong resistance. The fruit is oblate. The average single fruit weight is 120 g. It has a beautiful appearence with a deep-red color. The quality is excellent,with 17.94% soluble solids content,0.93% titratable acidity and the color degree more than 85%. It matures at the beginning of the October in Zhangjiakou and Chengde area of Hebei Province. It has a high and stable yield. The total yield is 22.5 t · hm-2.

  • ‘Meile’,a new apple variety with bud mutation of red color from‘Changfu 2’. The fruit is round,its shape index is 0.88,and its average fruit weight is 267.8 g. It has a green-yellow background color with covered with bright red. It has smooth skin with small fruit dot and without fruit rust. The flesh is thin crisp,juicy,sour-sweet,yellow. The soluble solids content is 14.5%,and firmness is 8.4 kg · hm-2. It has good quality. The fruit development period is about 180 days. It ripens in middle October in Yantai of Shandong.

  • ‘Hongri’pear is bred by the cross‘Red Clapp’s’בApple-pear’. Fruit is oblate with red skin,and single fruit weigh is 280 g. Flesh is white with juicy,sour-sweet,a little aroma,and less stone cell. The soluble solids content is 13.5%,titratable acid content is 0.38%,vitamin C is 0.0389 mg · g-1. Fruit quality is high. It ripens in early September in Xiongyue,Liaoning. It is a cultivar with high and early productive,high quality,resistance to diseases and to cold.

  • ‘Xingxiang Hongxian’is a new cultivar which was selected from the seedling variation of‘Zhusili’plum. The fruit shape is oval,fruit peel is yellowish green and the color of flesh is light yellow,and there is dominant red line. The average single fruit weight is 48.6 g. The soluble solids content of fruit is from 11.2% to 13.3%,8.7%–9.3% total sugar,and 0.78%–0.85% total acid. The fruit is larger and uniform. The fruit taste sour and sweet with rich juice. It has various desirable characteristics including high yield,good quality and the fruit ripen from late June to early July in Guangdong.

  • ‘Qilin Sanhuali’is a new and plum cultivar which was selected from Prunus salicina‘Sanhuali’. The fruit shape is near round and uniform,with average fruit weight of 48.2 g,having purple red skin and flesh,containing a soluble solids content of 13.0%,total sugar content of 8.27%,titratable acidity of 1.12%,vitamin C content of 95.7 mg · kg-1 and edible rate of 97.4%. The fruit is semi-freestone,with tender texture,sweet and sour flavor and rich fragrance. This cultivar has various desirable characteristics including big fruit,good quality,high yield and strong tolerance,which is suitable to be planted in south subtropical mountainous regions.

  • ‘Beiguolan’is a new amur grape cultivar derived from‘Zuoshanyi’בShuangqing’. The fruit ear is cone and average fruit cluster weight is 141.2 g. The berry is round with purple-black color. The average weight of single berry is 1.43 g. The soluble solids content is 15.9% to 21.1%,the titratable acid content is 1.83% to 2.63%,the total phenol content is 1.31% to 1.68% and the tannis content is 0.21% to 0.39%,respectively. It ripens in middle to end of September. It is suitable for brewing semi-dry,half sweet,sweet wines,or for the modulation of acid and color.

  • ‘Hongfeng’,a new mid early-ripening grape cultivar,was bred from‘Juxing’בFengbao’. The cluster and berry average weight are 760 g and 7 g,respectively. In addition,the cluster and berry shape is cone and spherical respectively with purple red pericarp. Furthermore,the soluble solids and acid content are 15.5% and 0.46% with soft and succulent flesh. The disease resistance of vine is stronger than the parents. Thus,the‘Hongfeng’has better quality. The fruit ripens in late of July in Weifang,Shandong.

  • ‘Qinhong 1’was selected from sexual cross between seedless grape cultivars‘Delight’(Vitis vinifera L.)and‘Ruby Seedless’(V. vinifera L.)through the embryo rescue techniques. Its fruit characteristics are as following:Fruit color is red to pale purple,cluster is branch conical,single cluster weight is more than 800 g,the biggest one reaches 1 130 g,the shape of berry is nearly round or oval,the average berry weight is 3.4 g. The fruit has a good quality,contains 18% soluble solids,and 0.9% titratable acid. Its flesh is delicate and crisp. It has high yield which can reaches 49 395 kg · hm-2 during full bearing period. The cultivar is suitable for open field cultivation in the arid areas of north China and facility cultivation in the north and south China.

The fruit is nearly round,purple skin,the average grain weight is 3.1 g,seedless,flesh is crisp,it tastes sweet and sour,the soluble solids content is 21%,the total acid is 3.63 g · kg-1. The berry has better storage performance and stronger adaptability cultivation.

  • ‘Pinglü’is a new cultivar of Actinidia arguta which was selected from wild single plant in Yulin countryside of Ji’an City,Jilin Province by asexual reproduction. The fruit is circular,fruit shape index is 0.97,and the fruit skin is green with the smooth and glabrous. The mean weight of fruit is 18.3 g,and the biggest one is 24.4 g. The flesh is dark green and tastes sweet and sour. The soluble solids content is 18.54% and vitamin C content is 0.765 mg · g-1. It can be planted in the open field and the friut ripes in early September in Jilin area.

The tree vigor is moderate strong,the blossom period is about 9 days,the anther number per flower is 44.6,the number of pollen grains per anther is 16 750,the germination rate of pollen is more than 94.3% with good pollination characteristics and high disease resistant ability.

The fruit is short-cylindrical with green flesh and green brown fruit skin which is covered by white hair. The average fruit weight is 30.1 g.‘Yulinglong’has special flavor,containing soluble solids content of 14.5%–18.2%,total sugar content of 10.5%–13.1%,total acid content of 1.06%–1.18%,and vitamin C of 6.16–6.59 mg · g-1. It ripens in late October in south area of Zhejiang Province. It has high yield and high resistance.

  • ‘Meiguixiang’is a new precocious fruit mulberry cultivar,which selected from the white mulberry seedling resources in Xiajin,Shandong. The fruit is ovoid in shape. The average fruit weight is 2.02 g. The flesh is much juicy with rose fragrant smell. The organic acid,vitamin C and soluble solids content are 1.03%,0.1188 mg · g-1 and 23%–30%,respectively. Flower bud rate and fruit setting rate are 98.15% and 91.89%,respectively. The fruit is mature in the mid to late of May. It is good for transportation. In addition,this cultivar has strong adaptability,good productivity and high resistant to disease.

  • ‘Meiguimi’is a new precocious fruit mulberry cultivar,which selected from the mulberry seedling resources in Shandong Province. Matured fruit is lavender. The fruit is oval. The average fruit weight is 2.28 g,and the flesh is juicy. The organic acid,vitamin C and soluble solids content are 1.06%,0.11 mg · g-1 and 23%–31%,respectively. Flower bud rate and fruit setting rate are 98.45%,92.89% respectively. The fruit ripens in the mid to late of May. In addition,it has strong adaptability,good productivity and high resistant to disease.

  • ‘Shuchao 2’walnut was selected from seedling,with regular shape,bright shell,thin and shallow shell lines. The average fruit weight is 17.6 g and kernel percentage is 52.83%. The total fat content is 64.28% and total protein content is 20.70%. Its kernel tastes fragrant with astringent. Compared with local walnut‘Shuoxing’,it has more total protein content and better taste and is more easy to take shell. The production of 5-year-old trees in grafted demonstration plantation was almost 470 g · m-2 on projection area.

  • ‘Yuxiang’is a new early fruiting walnut cultivar,which was selected from the walnut seedling resources in Qinyang,Henan. The new cultivar has large and round nuts,thin shell and plump kernel. The average weight of single fruit is 13.9 g,while the thickness of the shell is only 1.0 mm. Furthermore,the underdevelopment of inner diaphragm makes it easy to take out the kernel,and the kernel ratio is 58.4%. It has strong growth and excellent quality,high yield,high resistant to cold and disease,which is suitable for growing in North China or areas with similar climatic conditions.

It ripens in late September in Dezhou,Shandong. The cultivar is resistant to fruit crack. The trees are productive and high yield. It is suitable to plant in the jujube orchards all over China.

  • Pomegranate‘Jinghua Yushizi’is a variation of‘Yushizi’nutrition branches under natural conditions. The cultivar has great fruit and seed. The average weight of single fruit is 380.12 g and the biggest one reaches 612.38 g. The 100-seed weight is 90.99 g. The fruit also has excellent appearance quality,for example,bright and clean surface,and little rusty spots. Its soluble solids content is 14.0% and the edible rate and juice yield are 55.4% and 82.1%,respectively. It has pleasuring flavor,late-ripening,little dehiscent fruit and good storage property are also detected. The comprehensive property of the cultivar is so excellent and it is easy to get high yield.

The surface is bright and clean and its appearance is rather excellent. The average weight of single fruit is 354.1 g and the 100-aril weight reaches 78.97 g. The soluble solids content is 15.0%,whith pleasuring flavor. Its edible rate is 60.69%. It maturity is early and the seed is softer.

  • ‘Xiazhihong’ is a new middle-ripening Chinese bayberry cultivar. It was selected from natural elite seedlings in pink-colored Chinese bayberry fruit trees. It is suitable for cultivation in Ningbo,and areas with the similar ecological environment in Zhejiang Province.

The edible rate is 80.56%,the soluble solids content is 15.19%,total sugar is 15.49%,total acid is 3.15%,vitamin C content is 0.02 mg · g-1,crude fiber is 0.31%,and the edible rate is 80.56%. It is early-ripening,with high and stable yield,palatable favor and aroma. Its ripens in middle May to early July in Yunnan.

  • ‘Dongjiao 1’is a new banana cultivar which selected from the population of Brazil Banana that have undergone bud mutation. The plant is high and thick. It can grow luxuriantly and have 41 leaves or so. The average height and thickness of its pseudostem are 261.5 cm and 55.4 cm respectively. Its long and cylindrical bunch can weigh up to 24.1 kg with a fruit of 21.6 cm long. The pulp is yellowish white and taste smooth and fragrantly sweet,with 18.8% of soluble solids. It has a total growth period of about 405 days and a yield of 42.32 t · hm-2. It has high yield and good quality,with a lower incidence of Fusarium wilt in the field. It is suitable for cultivating in the tropical and south subtropical areas where there is a low chance of Fusarium wilt occurrence.

  • ‘Yujiang 1’is a new ginger cultivar selected from the excellent plants. The growth of plant is strong and it can be resistant to the drought,waterlogging and ginger bacterial wilt. The ginger rhizome has finger-like branches and irregular forms. The tiller numbers of new cultivar are 13–15 and its thickness and length are 1.29 cm and 23.48 cm,respectively. The crude protein content is 15.9%,the total sugar content is 17.6 g · kg-1,the crude fibre content is 0.79%,and the gingerol content is 2.32%. The quality of‘Yujiang 1’is spicy,crisp,and tender,the average yield is about 60 000 kg · hm-2. It is suitable for facilities or open field cultivation in the areas of Chongqing and the Southwestern China.

  • ‘E-moyu 1’,a new Amorphophallus Blume cultivar was bred from the generations by distant hybridization of A. konjac(as the female parent)and A. albus(as the male parent). The average yield is 26.77 t · hm-2,and the average propagation coefficient is 13.7. The konjac glucomannan and the dry matter content in three-year-old fresh corm are 55.85% and 16.60%,separately. It is resistance to soft rot,gray mold and dry rot,but is susceptible to southern blight. The growth period is about 146 d from seedling emergence to mature. It is suitable to be cultivated in the mountainous area of western Hubei Province with altitude of 800–1 300 m.

  • ‘Lanyu 1’jerusalem artichoke is an excellent progeny which was derived from reproduction materials of natural fructification seeds of‘J1’in Tonghua,Jilin Province. It has a compact plant type. The plant height varies from 230 cm to 250 cm,and the number of main stem is only one in general. It has a few branches and light purple stem. The tuber is light brown,which with a regular pattern and a relatively concentrated growth. It has a growth period about 160 days,a short blooming period about 20 days. The tuber yield of individual plant could achieve to above 1.7 kg. It has characteristics of high yield and strong stress resistance,and is suitable to plant in arid and semi-arid regions where the annual rainfall is above 150 mm.

Onion bulb skin is deep purple,while internal bulb layers are lavender. The average yield reached 90 t · hm-2. This new cultivar shows good resistance both to downy mildew and peliosis. It is suitable for open field cultivation in Huang-huai area of China.

The head shape index is 2.3. The average net head weight is about 1.1 kg and net vegetable rate is 70%. Its yield is about 80 t · hm-2. It has characteristics of good quality and strong resistance to disease. It is suitable to be cultivated in Hebei,Henan,Liaoning Provinces in late summer and early autumn.

The curd is spherical shape,and its flower buds are dark green and medium size. The average weight of curd is 500 g with 15 cm in transverse diameter. The cultivar has good comprehensive resistance,and it is suitable for cultivation in autumn in Zhejiang,China.

The cultivar is suitable for open field cultivation in autumn and winter in Yangtze River Basin,and summer in the areas of North China.

  • ‘Keda 205’is a new red tomato hybrid with resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus(TYLCV),which is developed by crossing‘TR068’בTR131’. The hybrid grows strongly with indeterminate plant type,dark-green leaves and middle maturity. The matured fruits are nearly round in shape,red in color with high firmness and good quality. The single fruit weight ranges from 200 to 220 g. Especially,it has good resistance to TYLCV,as well as to fusarium wilt,leaf mould and TMV. The average yield of‘Keda 205’is 153.1 t · hm-2 as a result of multiple experiments. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in overwintering and late autumn under greenhouse conditions in northern China.

The weight of single fruit is about 200 g. It have moderate resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. The yield reaches 59 548.5 kg · hm-2. Above all,the luffa‘Chunsi 2’can be suitable cultivated in Zhejiang Province and surrounding areas.

The fruit is cylinder shape with single weight of about 1.28 kg. The rind is white and flesh is orange. The Brix in the central part of fruit is about 10%. It is of high edible quality with crisp taste and fragrance. The developing period of spring is about 30 days. The whole developing period is about 89–102 days. It has good resistant to hypothermia and gummy stem blight,which is suitable for facilities cultivation in spring in East China with average yield is 38 122.5 kg · hm-2.

  • ‘Yanxiu’is a new Tagetes patula L. cultivar developed by system selection from an imported variety‘Yingxiong’. Its plant is dwarf,compact and strongly branching. It is also characterized by the double-flowered trait and more honeycomb flowers with one whorl ray florets in deep orange. Days from sowing to flowering are about 71.5 days and blossoming is almost uniform. The flowering duration is longer and it can be up to 18.2 days for a single flower. This cultivar is also better in stress resistance and suitable for cultivation in Zhejiang Province and other areas with similar climate conditions.

  • ‘Rainbow’is a new cultivar of Celosia which was selected from Celosia‘Zaoshui’mutated by space flight. The plant height is 33.37 cm and the width is 25.23 cm,the number of branches with crest 8.75. The cristate shape inflorescence is nearly in the same hight level with the length of 8.17 cm and the width of 4.95 cm. The crests color is red-purple. The inflorescence can last more than 74 days. The growth and flowering of the individual plants in the population were in uniform. The suitable growing season is the summer.

  • ‘Jiaoyang’cockscomb is a new cultivar developed from Celosia cristata’Zaoshui’,a traditional cultivar in Guangdong,the seeds of which were carried by recoverable satellite. The stable mutant lines were screened from the mutation population for 5 generations. It is 35.3 cm in height,29.2 cm in width,8 claret-colored crested inflorescences on average and long oval leaf with deep green color. Inflorescences of this cultivar can last over 90 days or so. It is suitable for growing in summer in the most regions of China and around year in Southern China because it had the tolerance to high temperature.

  • Four cultivars of Hemerocallis were selected by hybrid experiment. Among them,flowers of‘Fenjiaren’are orbicular with 10.0 cm in diameter,the perianth is mauve and wrinkled.‘Fentaifei’also has orbicular flower and the perianth is wrinkled. The difference from‘Fenjiaren’is,flower of‘Fentaifei’stem is 8.5 cm,and the perianth color is pink. Flowers of‘Hongtaifei’are orbicular too. It has dark red perianth and 14.5 cm flower stem. The perianth is downy glossy and the inner-perianth is wrinkled. Flowers of‘Xiaguang’are star type with 14.5 cm in diameter,wrinkled perianth. Its perianth has two different colors,red inner-perianth and yellow exoeprigon. The midrib of the inner-perianth is yellow. These four types of Hemerocallis can be cultivated in Hebei Province,or other areas similar habitat as Hebei.

  • ‘Pink Memory’is a new cultivar selected from artificial pollination seedlings. It is 51.4 cm high,and its scape is 82.6 cm long and thick with the average of 16.4 flowers for each inflorescence. Its outer perianth is yellow with flush margin,inner tangerine with folded margin,yellow midrib,yellowish-green throat and 14.5 cm flower diameter. The flower opens only in daytime during the middle of June to the middle of August. It is a diploid plants with a propagation rate of 4.0. The flower bud is yellowish-green and contains 8 308.0 mg total sugar,205.0 mg K,28.4 mg Ca,20.9 mg Mg,33.7 mg P,0.31 mg Zn,217.0 mg vitamin B1,25.2 mg vitamin B3,47.8 mg vitamin B6,per 100 g fresh buds. It has strong resistance to drought,cold,salinity and diseases. It is an excellent ornamental and edible cultivar with excellent comprehensive characters.

  • ‘Hongyun’is a new cultivar of Paphiopedilum developed by crossing two excellent strains of female parent Paph. delenatii and male parent Paph. vietnamense. The surface of leaves is green with light green stripe. Undersurface of leaves is purple with small white spots. The inflorescence is purple brown with an average of 1.5 flower,7.5 cm in average transverse diameter and 6.5 cm in vertical diameter. Sepals and petals are light purple. Staminodes are red-purple with yellow-green spot. Plants are easy to bloom and the flowering period is in May to June and the lifetime of a single flower is 20 d.

  • A new shrub rose cultivar‘Hongwuyue’was selected from the offspring seedling population of‘Carefree Beauty’בBavarian Girl’. The flower of‘Hongwuyue’has bright red color and double flower. For a five years’ old cutting seedling under the condition of open field cultivation in Beijing,it’s flower average diameter is 10.0 cm,and density can attain 90 flowers per square meter on one plant in spring florescence. It can continuously blooming from middle May to early November.‘Hongwuyue’has high growth vigor,and environment adaptiveness. It is suitable for cultivation in North China,Northwest China,Central China and south of Northeast China region.

  • ‘Jingxun 1’is a new lavender cultivar which is selected and bred from seedlings the natural pollination of‘74-26(2)’and‘C-197’. Spikes are 15–20 cm in length,verticillasters,the spike inflorescence usually has 8–12 whorls per branch,calyx purple above,gray white below,corolla light purple. Flowering in early July. The plant has strong adaptability and resistance to drought,cold and infertility stress. Essential oils yields varied from 1.4% to 1.6% and has high quality with camphor (0.155%),linalool(37.82%),linalyl acetate(27.01%),lavandayl acetate(5.622%). This cultivar can be used for extraction of essential oil and seedings of ecological environment construction.

Spikes dense and compact,which has gorgeous colour and sweet aroma. It also has beautiful plant type suitable for ornamental use. It can be used in lavender garden and extraction of high-quality essential oil.

  • ‘Ningnongqi 9’is a new wolfberry cultivar from the Lycium barbarum L. production garden which planted by nature hybridization seedlings. It shows good characteristics such as vigorous growth,resistance,self-incompatibility. The average weight is 1.06 g,the ratio of fruit diameter/transverse diameter is 2.5,fruit pulp thick 1.8 mm,32 grain seeds per fruit;The ratio of fresh or dry fruit is 4.1–4.6. In dry fruit,the total sugar content,lycium barbarum polysaccharide content,betaine content,and carotenoid content are 452.8 mg · g-1,21.4 mg · g-1,8.3 mg · g-1,2.245 mg · g-1. It can cultivate in Ningxia,Qinghai,Gansu,Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia where shows good characteristics and economic efficiency.

  • ‘Hongyan 13’is a new clonal tea cultivar derived from the natural crossing progenies of ‘Tieguanyin’. ‘Hongyan 13’is shrub type,which has medium leaf,with many excellent characteristics of early-sprouting,high yield,superiorly quality,strong tolerance and resistance. It suitably manufactured oolong and green tea. Processed oolong had heavy flavour aroma,heavy and thick taste,bright yellow liquor. Green tea performed brightly green shape,high and sharp aroma,fresh and mellow taste,bright yellowish green liquor.
