Abstract:

‘Qinhong 1’was selected from sexual cross between seedless grape cultivars‘Delight’（Vitis vinifera L.）and‘Ruby Seedless’（V. vinifera L.）through the embryo rescue techniques. Its fruit characteristics are as following：Fruit color is red to pale purple，cluster is branch conical，single cluster weight is more than 800 g，the biggest one reaches 1 130 g，the shape of berry is nearly round or oval，the average berry weight is 3.4 g. The fruit has a good quality，contains 18% soluble solids，and 0.9% titratable acid. Its flesh is delicate and crisp. It has high yield which can reaches 49 395 kg · hm-2 during full bearing period. The cultivar is suitable for open field cultivation in the arid areas of north China and facility cultivation in the north and south China.
