A New Brewing Grape Cultivar‘Beiguolan’

Abstract:

‘Beiguolan’is a new amur grape cultivar derived from‘Zuoshanyi’בShuangqing’. The fruit ear is cone and average fruit cluster weight is 141.2 g. The berry is round with purple-black color. The average weight of single berry is 1.43 g. The soluble solids content is 15.9% to 21.1%,the titratable acid content is 1.83% to 2.63%,the total phenol content is 1.31% to 1.68% and the tannis content is 0.21% to 0.39%,respectively. It ripens in middle to end of September. It is suitable for brewing semi-dry,half sweet,sweet wines,or for the modulation of acid and color.
