‘Zaohongyu’is a new red skin pear cultivar which was selected from the cross‘Shinseiki’בHongxiangsu’. The fruits are subround shape and average weight 256 g. The fruit skin is greenish-yellow covered with bright red on the side exposed to the sun. The flesh is crisp,juicy and sweet. The soluble solids content is 12.8%,accompany with 7.64% soluble sugar content and 0.07% titratable acid content. The fruit growth period is 120–130 d and storage-tolerance is high. It matures in early August in Zhengzhou,Henan. The yield is up to 60 t · hm-2.
‘Jicui’is a new late-ripening pear cultivar which selected from the cross combination of ‘Huangguan’and‘Jinhua’. The fruit shape is near round with green-yellow peel. The average fruit weight is 310 g. The soluble solids content is 12.5%. The flesh is white,crisp,rich juice,little stone cells and tasted sour-sweet. The fruit ripens at early September in Shijiazhuang district. The yield is up to 43 t ? hm-2.
‘Zhongnong Hantao 1’is a new mid-early maturing and cold resistance peach cultivar. Its parent is the seven-year-old eminent naturally seedling tree collected from the countryside garden in Taoxian Town of Shenyang. The peach fruit is suborbicular,its flesh is pink and its pericap is thin,with white bottom colour and bright red sunward side. The average weight of the fruit is 288 g,the maximum weight can be up to 366 g and the edible rate is about 95%. The total soluble soilds content is 11.3%,titratable acid content is 0.56%,vitamin C content is 6.21 μg · g-1. The fruit behaves well on the point of making juice for its high juice yield,about 73.5%,and the strong anti-oxidation character of its rosy juice. The new cultivar has the character of earlier bearing and stable harvesting,and its yield is 37.5 t · hm-2 in the fourth year of engraftment. Additionally,the new cultivar has high cold resistance,but is not anti-waterlogging or tolerant for saline-alkaline,so it is suitable for cultivation in Huludao of Liaoning and similar zone. After many years of field observation,the peach tree is resistant to gummosis and scab and should be prevented from brown spot perforation.
‘Taishan Shuhong’was selected from seedlings of‘Yukon King’. The fruit shape is round regularly with slightly umbilicated top and shallow suture line. The average fruit weight is 156.2 g. The fruit skin is in full red color and with short fuzz. The flesh is in white color,crispy,juicy and hard-melting. Red pigments would be generated in flesh of fully matured fruits. The soluble solids content and titratable acid content were 12.1% and 0.37%,respectively,resulting in the moderately sweet and sour flavor quality of the fruit. The fruit development period was about 100 days. In conclusion,the cultivar has excellent table qualities and many other good characteristics,such as early fruiting,high fertility and strong adaptability.
‘Fodu Dongtao 1’is a new late-ripening peach cultivar selected from the peach cultivar‘Zhonghua Dongtao 2’. The fruit shape is round,the average weight is 220 g,and the biggest one is 589 g. More than 50% of the fruit surface is covered with deep red. The flesh is yellowish-white with red pigment around stone,non-melting,sweet. The soluble solids content is 14.39% and the stone is free. It is tolerant to storage and long-distance transportation with 18.0 kg · cm-2 hardness. It has high yield with self-fertility. The fruit development period is about 260 days,and it ripens in fields in mid-December in Dali of Yunnan.

The average production of 5-year-old tree is 20.19 kg. It has excellent quality,high yield,high resistant to disease and strong adaptability.
‘Bingtangshen’is a new fresh-eating and processing fruit mulberry cultivar,which was selected from the white mulberry seedling resources in Xiajin,Shandong. The fruit is ovoid in shape. The average fruit weight is 3.1 g and the biggest one reaches 3.9 g. The fruit is lavender and juicy with grain,bright juice and candy fragrant smell. The organic acid,vitamin C,soluble solids,pH,flower bud rate,fruit setting rate are 0.83 g · kg-1,342 mg · kg-1,23.78%,6.38,98.65% and 93.68%,respectively. The fruit maturity period is from mid-May to late May and the defoliation period is from late October to early November,in Dezhou,Shandong. The average production of 5-year-old tree is 11.75 kg. It has excellent quality,high yield and high resistance to disease,which is suitable for growing in mulberry-cultivated areas of China.

The fruit has a round or oblong shape and purple red skin. The average weight of per fruit is 17.3 g and the percentage of esculent part of fruit is 97.0%. The rate of drying is 64.0%,and the sugar content of dried jujube is 77.5%. The fruits developing period is 85 days. It is highly resistant to fruit cracking and shrink disease. The cultivar has high and stable yield,and the yield is up to 33.0 kg · plant-1. The fruits are suitable for drying.

The konjac glucomannan content in corm is 38.0%–43.0%,the viscosity is 2 500–4 000 mPa · s. It is suitable to be cultivated in the hot and humid area with altitude of 400–1 300 m.
‘Gengyu 2’is a new konjac cultivar bred from Amorphophallus muelleri varieties populations by systematic breeding method.‘Gengyu 2’achieves on higher yield and resistant to diseases. The average yield is up to 45 t · hm-2,50% higher than that of local A. konjac seed. The morbidity of bacterial soft rot decreased 60% than local A. konjac seed. The growth period is 240 d. The corm has 52.8% dry matter,which has 43.69% konjac glucomannan(KGM)and 14 600 mPa · s viscosity. It is suitable to be cultivated in altitude 600–1 600 m of Southeast of China mountain.

Cymbidium‘Yuxiang’is a new Chinese Cymbidium potted cultivar with a pleasant aroma,which was developed from the cross combination of Cymbidium sinense‘Xiaoxiang’and Cymbidium lancifolium. It belongs to small plant type Cymbidium with oblanceolate leaves,and is easy to produce seedlings by both micropropagation and division method. Its flower is purple in color and above the leaves. The green inflorescence is nearly erect with white long hairs,its average length is 22.8 cm with an yellow-green and scented flower,11.7 cm in average transverse diameter and 11.9 cm in vertical diameter. Middle sepals areovate-lanceolate with acuminate apex. Petals are ovoid with dark-purple stripes and spots. Labellum is near spherical with dark-purple spots. The flowering period is in December to March and the lifetime of a single flower is 35 to 40 d.
‘SCBG Ziqi’is a new cultivar of Paphiopedilum developed by tissue culture of a seed crossed from two excellent strains of female parent Paph. charlesworthii and male parent Paph. ‘Blacklight’. This cultivar is characterized by strong growth vigor. The surface of leaves of the cultivar is green and the undersurface of leaves is light green. The dark-purple inflorescence is nearly erect with thick hairs,its average length is 21.5 cm with an purple-red flower,9.7 cm in average transverse diameter and 9.2 cm in vertical diameter. Middle sepals are nearly round and their sides roll back. Brown petals are spoonful and curly with purple stripes. Labellum is helmet-shaped and purple-red with purple-brown stripes. The flowering period is in December to March and the lifetime of a single flower is 40 to 45 d.

Moringa oleifera‘Zhonglin 2’was introduced from Myanmar and bred through selective breeding. The arranged closely axillary buds,supernumerary buds and resting buds show a strong branching ability. The plants truncated stem have a stronger ability to regenerate. Its compound leaf is approximately 33.5 cm long with an average width of 21.7 cm. With an average fresh leaves yield of 30 000 kg · hm-2 and crude protein content of 293 g · kg-1 in leaf powder,the elite variety is fit for establishment of Moringa garden for leaf use.
The improved cultivar Moringa oleifera‘Zhonglin 3’was introduced from Myanmar and bred through selective breeding of superior trees,genetic testing and regionalization trail. It bears relatively stronger fruit pods with average length of 49.2 cm and fresh weight of 110 g,and bigger seeds. The weight ratio of flesh to fruit is approximately 83% and tender pods yield can reach to 30 000 kg · hm-2 in full fruit period. The elite variety is fit for establishment of Moringa orchard for edible pods production.
