Abstract:

The fruit of‘Hongxing’strawberry is conical，bright red and shiny. The first grade fruit weight is 56.5 g，the second grade fruit weight is 28.6 g，the fruit is uniform and tidy. Fruit flesh is red，delicate，sweet and rich fragrant. The fruit contains 9.6%–11.8% soluble solids，4.25% reducing sugar，0.65% titratable acid and 0.44 mg ? g^-1 vitamin C. Fruit firmness is 0.586 kg ? cm^-2. It has high firmness and good shipping quality. The yield of per plant is up to 524.5 g. Plants are dormant，it is suitable for forcing culture.
