Abstract: ‘Yuetai 6’which cultivated by cross breeding is a mid-late-maturing flowering Chinese cabbage. The leaves are oval，green，26.5 cm in length and 18.0 cm in width. Main sprouts are 40.0 cm high，3.2 cm thick. The coverage sprout weight is 321.8 g. Sprout color is green. It taste crisp and sweet. The souble solids content is 6.73%，protein content is 2.51%，reducing sugar content is 2.2%，crude fibre content is 0.89% and vitamin C content is 0.588 mg · g-1‘. Yuetai 6’showed strong adaptability，good yield and quality. The yield is up to 22 083.0 kg · hm-2 in spring and 30 904.5 kg · hm-2 in autumn.
