Abstract: ‘Youlü 703 Caixin’is a new mid-maturing，conventional cultivar of flowering Chinese cabbage obtained by combination of hybridization and systemic breeding. This cultivar boasts well-growing half-erect plants，hairchested and symmetrically developed cabbages with willow-leaf-shape leaves，crisp and sweet flavors，as well as good quality. Its sprouts are 23.6 cm in height，1.8 cm in diameter， and 50.9 g in single sprout weight，averagely. It takes 36–40 d for harvest after seed sowing. The cultivar is of high productivity and good marketability，with yields of 15 357.4 kg · hm-2 and 19 134.6 kg · hm-2 in spring and autumn，respectively.
