‘Xiangfei ’—A New Early Ripening Grape Variety

Abstract: ‘Xiangfei’ is a hybrid selected from 􀀂Cardinal 73-7-6 (Muscat Hamburg ! Pearl of Csaba) . The berries are large, nearly circular, the mean berry mass is 7. 58 g, The flesh is hardy, crisp and tender and it has heavy rose aroma. Soluble solid concentration averages 14. 25%, with a mean titratable acidity of 0. 58%. The skin is greenish yellow. 􀀂Xiangfei maturates early in the season, it completely maturates in early-August in Beijing .
