Abstract: ‘Yunlin Huangjingshan 4’is a new superior cultivar resulting from a bud mutation of a Taxus wallichiana var. mairei seedling,belonging to the Taxus genus in the Taxaceae family. It features an elegant tree shape with an oval crown. The bark is reddish-brown,with first-year branches displaying golden-yellow that gradually turns green after new leaves emerge in the second year. The current-year young leaves are golden-yellow and relatively soft,while mature leaves are thin,leathery,yellow,glossy on both sides,and the male cones are golden-yellow. This variety exhibits high ornamental value and is suitable for cultivation in subtropical or warm temperate regions.
