Abstract: The thin-skinned melon‘Hundred Billion 189’is a new cultivar developed through hybridization with inbred line L2065 as the female parent and inbred line B193 as the male parent. The fruit is obovate in shape,with an extremely thin skin. The flesh is white and very soft,with a sweet and fragrant taste. The single fruit weighs about 400 g,and the soluble solids content of the fruit is 12.5%. The entire growth period is about 115 days,and the maturity period is 64 days. The average yield is about 35 000 kg per hectare. It is suitable for open-field cultivation in Jilin regions.
