A New Root Mustard Cultivar‘Yuanrun 65’

Abstract: ‘Yuanrun 65’is the new root mustard F1 hybrid cultivar,which had good shape and excellent quality,and was crossed from the cytoplasmic male sterile line and inbred line. The cultivar can be harvested after about 65 d of planting. The root ball is conical,with a height of 15.7 cm and a width of 12.8 cm. It is smooth,round,less fiber,good taste,and the average weight of a single root ball is 0.97 kg,and the yield is 97 120 kg · hm-2. It is resistant to downy mildew,and had strong tolerance to bolting. It is suitable to be planted in Beijing,Guizhou,Fujian,Yunnan,Hubei,Guangxi,Shaanxi,Guangdong,Sichuan,and Chongqing of China.
