Abstract:

‘Zhongyoupan Weidi’is cultivated through artificial hybridization with‘Meiqiu’（female parent）and‘97-3-9’（male parent）. The flower is bell-shaped，and has a high natural fruit setting rate. The fruit is flat in shape，with a single fruit weight of 190-260 g. When ripe，it is dark red in color，and when bagged，it turns golden yellow. The fruit texture is firm melting-flesh and clingstone，with a strong sweet flavor and pleasant aroma. The soluble solids content is 15.0%-17.0%. In Zhengzhou，the fruits mature in early August and the fruit development period is about 125 days. It is very productive，yielding 37 500-37 740 kg · hm^-2 at full productive age. This cultivar is suitable for popularization and cultivation in peach-producing areas of the Huanghuai region and southern North China，including Henan，Hebei，Shandong，Jiangsu，Anhui and Shanxi provinces.
