Abstract: ‘Wanlü’is a new cultivar of Zelkova schneideriana selected from the seedling crop. The crown is broadly ovoid shape，the color of current year shoots are brownish green and dark brown，the leaf surface is slightly wrinkled，thick，the leaf margin is crenate. The discoloration period is 45 to 60 days later than that of common Z. schneideriana species. The cultivar has the characteristics of rapid growth，long green period，flooding resistance，barren resistance and strong dust retention. The survival rate of cuttings is more than 75%. It can be planted in the hills and plains south of the Yangtze River. It is a good ecological afforestation tree species and can also be used as city road and highway street trees.
