Abstract: ‘Yuecui 2 Caixin’is a new flowering Chinese cabbage hybrid developed by crossing the excellent cytoplasmic male sterile（CMS）line 18-9-5A as female parent with the high generation inbred line 18-9-204 as male parent. It has strong growth potential，upright and compact plant type. The bolt is sturdy，oily green and glossy，with a plant height of 35 cm，a bolt height of 27 cm，a bolt thickness of 1.9 cm，and a bolt weight of 80.5 g. Bolting is neat and consistent. The cultivar takes 37–40 days from sowing to initial harvest and belongs to the mid-maturing type of cultivar. It has wide adaptability，and suitable for growing in spring and autumn cultivation in southern China. The average yield can reach to 18 832 kg · hm-2.
