Abstract: Koelreuteria bipinnata‘Caihong’is a new cultivar bred from the free pollination seeding of K. bipinnata‘Jinyan’. The cultivar has ellipse crow. The main characteristics of this cultivar are that the color of 1–3 years old branches is golden-yellow. The color of spring tips and new leaves are pink， then gradually turn to yellowish-green，and light green mature leaves with mask pink markings turn to golden in autumn. This cultivar is propagated by autumn grafting. It is light-loving and drought-tolerant， and is suitable for application in landscaping in the area south of the Yellow River.
