Late-ripening Juice Making Grape Variety ‘Beifeng’

Abstract: Beifeng is an interspecific hybrid cultivar derived from V itis thunberg ii and Muscat Hamburg (V. vinifera). Berriesmature at the end of Sep tember in Beijing. The vines are vigorouswith high yield. The conical and large clustersweigh 389.6 g on average. The average mass of a single berry is 2.9 g. The moderately crowded berries are uniformly sized, ellip tical and purp le black. The flesh is soft and juicy. The juice is purple-red and acid-sweet with 19.1% - 23.1% soluble solid content, 0175% titratable acid content and
81.9% juice extraction. It has high resistance to cold and diseases.
