Abstract: Virus disease is important for grapevine production. In order to understand the current research progress of grapevine viruses，the research progress in recent five years on isolation and identification of grapevine viruses，genetic variation，vectors，interaction with host，detection methods，virus elimination and antiviral techniques were reviewed.
