Abstract: A genetic linkage map of Pyrus(2n = 34)was constructed by 209 AFLP markers which were distributed on 17 linkage groups and spanned 1 506.3 cM in genome with an average distance of 7.21 cM between markers. The map was based on a population(n = 97)derived from a cross of ‘Bayuehong’בDangshansuli’. By using interval mapping method, the QTLs for five fruit traits of pear were detected, including 1 QTL for soluble solids content on LG1,3 QTLs for fruit weight on LG6,LG7 and LG11,1 QTL for aspect ratio on LG7,2 QTLs for fruit weight on LG6 and LG7,and 2 QTLs for fruit stalk length on LG1 and LG8. The phenotypic variations explained by each QTL ranged from 11.4% to 36.4%,and their LOD values varied from 2.50 to 4.14.
