A New Pear Cultivar‘Zhongli Yucui 3’

Abstract: ‘Zhongli Yucui 3’is a new pear cultivar which was selected from the cross combination of‘Bayuehong’בHongxiangsu’. The tree vigor is moderate,and the tree posture is semi-upright. The fruit is fusiform,and the average fruit weight is 229 g. The fruit skin is green. The flesh is white,fine,crisp and juicy. The flavor is subtle sweetness. The soluble solids content is 11.76%,and the average fruit firmness is 6.92 kg • cm-2. It matures in mid-late August in Xingcheng,Liaoning Province,and the fruit development period is around 100 d. The yield is high and stable,and the yield is about 38 700 kg • hm-2 at full fruiting period.
