Abstract: Efects of diferent plant growth regulators on the vase life and preserving property of Nymphaeft stellata cut flower were studied．The results showed that 50 mg·L^-1.GA₃treatment produced the best resuit for the preserving property of N．stellata cut flower and could extend the vase、ire of N．stellata cut flower highly significantly as compared to the control(distilled water)．It could increase flower diameter，straightened flower stems and prolonged time of the existance of flowers．It also could keep fresh mass of flower stem and retarded the increase of pH value and relative plasmalemma permeability in petals of stellata cut flower.Efects of 10 mg·L^-1 PP₃₃₃ and 10 mg·L^-1 CCC treatment were not significantly as compared to the control1 mg·L^-1 6-BA and 1 mg·L^-1 NAA treatment were not suitable for vase-holding of N.stellata cut flower．
