Immuno-gold Localization of Recognition Prorein in the Self-Pollination Style of Shatinyu

Abstract

Abstract: By immuno-gold, the recognition protein in the stylar passage cell of shatinyu (Citrus grandis var. Shatinyu Hort. ) 1- 3 days after self􀀁pollination was examined. The gold􀀁grains were located on the endoplasm reticu􀀁
lum, golgiosome and cellulose wall successively. The change of the gold􀀁grains distribution in the 1/ 2 stylar passage cell of shatinyu was identical to that of pollen tube stopping glycoprotein on the cellulose wall of 1/ 2 stylar passage cell which was the recognition site of self-incompatibility of shatinyu.
