摘要: ‘绿衣紫鹃’是以长叶木兰(Magnolia paenetalauma)为母本,美丽二乔玉兰(M. × soulangeana ‘Meili’)为父本杂交选育的新品种。常绿小乔木,枝繁叶茂,花美丽,花被片 9,外轮 3 片黄绿色,内 轮 6 片紫红色,是木兰属(Magnolia)常绿类群中鲜有的红花品种;4 月上旬—5 月下旬开花,8—9 月二 次开花。适宜于华南地区及西南部分地区推广种植。

Abstract: ‘Lüyi Zijuan’is a new Magnolia cultivar,which was selected from hybrid between M. paenetalauma and M. × soulangeana‘Meili’. It is a small evergreen tree with dense twigs and leaves, beautiful flowers and nine tepals with outer three yellowish-green and inner six purplish-red,and a rare red cultivar in the evergreen group of Magnolia,flowering from early April to late May and a second bloom in August to September. It is suitable for cultivation and application in South China and parts of Southwest China.
