Abstract: ‘Yueyan 1’is a new mid-early ripening cultivar of hot pepper hybrid suitable for South China，Jiangsu，Henan，Helongjiang by outdoor cropping. The shape of fruit in immature is sheep-horn，with green skin，17.7 cm in length，3.2 cm in width and 0.32 cm in flesh thickness. The single fruit weight is 54.7 g. Moreover，the ripe fruit has smooth appearance，low pungent and excellent storage capacity.
