Analysis of Stress-resistance of CcCBFs from Cinnamomum camphora Transgenic Tobacco

Abstract:

In order to explore the function of three CBF genes from Cinnamomum camphora (CcCBFa,CcCBFb and CcCBFc)enhancing plant abiotic stress resistance,the obtained T1 generation of positive transgenic tobacco was subjected to stress treatment under 300 mmol · L-1 mannitol,300 mmol · L-1 NaCl solution and 4 ℃ to simulate drought,high salt and low temperature,respectively. The physiological indexes,such as proline,soluble sugar and malondialdehyde,were measured to reflect the resistance characteristics of transgenic plants. The results showed that CcCBFb and CcCBFc could significantly enhance tobacco drought resistance;CcCBFa and CcCBFc significantly enhanced the salt tolerance of tobacco;CcCBFc significantly enhanced cold tolerance of tobacco. CcCBFc could improve the ability of drought-resistance,salt-tolerance and cold-resistance of transgenic tobacco.
