Research on Quantitative Taxonomy of Cultivars in Pingyin Rose

Abstract: Cluster analysis was applied to classify cultivars of Pingyin rose. Selected 37 characters of 21 cultivars were investigated. All selected cultivars were grouped by running SAS cluster program. The results showed: the cultivars can be grouped into three clusters by Q cluster analysis at level of Lq1 = 1.2586 and five clusters at the level of Lq2 = 1.128. The‘meigui’type is closer to the‘qiangwei’type in the affinity relationship than others.
