‘Yanliang Xiangzao’ --A New Drying Variety with Anti-crack of Zizyphus jujuba Mill

Abstract: ‘Yanliang Xiangzao’,a new dried-jujube variety with late ripening,selected from Lintong Chizao jujube orchards in Yanliang District,Xi’an.The fruit is oblate shape,red-black colour,and middle large,the average fruit mass is 9.5 g,maximum fruit mass is 15.0 g,the average core mass is 0.4 g.It ripens
in early-middle October in Yanliang.Th e fruit is uniform,attractive,good quality fruit,applicable to dry,and it has 46% of the dried-rate.The fresh-fruit has a middle-thick peel with high toughness and crack-resistance. The dried-jujube with plump-fruit has a good elasticity and highlight color.Its cultivated region is in north China with 11.0-13.0℃ of the annual average temperature and 550-650 mm of the annual rainfall.
