Abstract: The new Chrysanthemum morifolium cultivar‘Bianjing Zijingling’was bred from the seeds produced under natural pollination of‘Guoqinghong’as the female parent. It was characterized by low，compact plant，vigorous growth. It has a wide variety of flowers，semi-double inflorescences，2.7 cm in diameter，and beautiful color. The ligulate flower is purple with a little milky white color at the base. The flower center is yellow. Its natural flowering period is early，the florescence is in early October，the end of flowering is in late October，and the stage of full bloom is reached around October 15th. This new cultivar can be used to make flower beds for National Day and for chrysanthemum cultural festival exhibitions.
