Abstract: ‘Eguan 8’is a new ornamental grass variety bred through asexual reproduction from a mutant of flowered color of Trifolium repens. The petals are red，with a flower cluster height of 34–36 cm and a leaf layer height of 28–30 cm. The cultivar is a long blooming stage from April to October in the Wuhan area，and exhibits strong ornamental characteristics. It is highly resistant and can be cultivated in most parts of the country，suitable for promotion and application in urban landscaping in temperate and subtropical areas.
