Abstract: ‘Gongju 3’was selected from the Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. by mass selection. The cultivar is a new variety with yellow flowers，high yield and high quality. The whole plant is dwarf. The flower diameter is about 5.20 cm. The inner ligulate flowers are pale yellow，while the outer ray flowers indicated white. The flower shows extremely few，and without flower center. The average number of inflorescences per platn is 324，and the average fresh weight of flowers per plant is 202.83 g. The content of chlorogenic acid，luteolin and 3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in dried flowers were 0.51%，0.28% and 1.35%，respectively. The cultivar is suitable for promotion in the southern region of Anhui Province.
