Abstract: ‘Wucai Tiannuo 2’is a new multicolored sweet and waxy maize hybrid with ShenW93 as female parent and wh-2 as male parent. It is 85.5 d from emergence of spring sowing to harvest in Shanghai. The plant type is semi-compact，the plant height is 217.4 cm，the ear height is 85.8 cm，and the number of adult leaves is 20. The Panicle is tube type，panicle length is 18.7 cm，panicle diameter is 5.0 cm，panicle lines are 14.3 lines. The number of grains per row is 38.6，and the cob is white. A hundred grains-fresh weight is 36.2 g，and the seed yield is 66%. The rate of skin residue is 10.3%，and the content of amylopectin is 98.75%. The yield is 14 084.3 kg • hm-2. It is highly resistant to big leaf spot，small leaf spot，dwarf mosaic disease，sheath blight，stem rot，and southern rust.
