Abstract: ‘Yanzhihong’is a new Schisandra chinensis cultivar which was selected from the seedling cultivation group in Damenkuang Village，Jingyu County，Baishan City，Jilin Province. The average ear weight is 24.3 g. The fruit is nearly spherical，dark red at maturity，with an average fruit weight of 0.9 g. The average content of schisandrol，gomisin A，r-schisandrin，soluble solids，total acid and drying rate in dried fruit were 0.75%，0.06%，0.32%，14.1%，6.3% and 21.2%，respectively. The fruits mature in early September，and the average yield of five-year-old‘Yanzhihong’was 1 236.2 kg • hm-2. The‘Yanzhihong’tree is relatively vigorous，and it has strong disease resistance.
