Abstract: ‘Huafei’is a new apple cultivar derived from the hybrid of‘Gold Delicious’and‘Huafu’. The shape of the fruit is globose. The fruit shape index is 0.86. The average fruit weight is 181 g. Fruit covered with bright red，and the surface is smooth with little lenticels. The flesh is light yellow，tender，crunchy and juicy. The hardness of peeled fruit is 7.0 kg • cm-2. The soluble solids content is 15%，and it tastes sweet. The fruit has high quality. The fruit growth period is about 168 d. It is a new late ripening apple cultivar matured in late October in Xingcheng，Liaoning. The yield is 41 000 kg • hm-2.
