Abstract: ‘Wanlou 15’is a new cultivar of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. developed by crossing female parent‘Wanlou 7’and male parent‘Wanlou 1’. The cultivar is mid-late ripening with 218 day growing cycle，and its harvesting begins in late October. It showed the characteristics with few branches，low fruiting position and continuous bearing capacity. The outer shell of the seeds is brownish yellow with luster. The thousand seed weight is 290.0 g and the seed rate is about 9.8%. The average weights of single fresh fruit and root are 650.0 g and 2.6 kg in the first year，and they are 698.0 g and 4.8 kg in the second year，respectively. The cultivar shows high resistance to the diseases of anthracnose and root-knot nematode.
