Abstract: ‘Shuzaomei’is an extremely early ripening Chinese cherry cultivar selected from hybrid progeny of‘Hongfei’בNanzaohong’. The fruit is reniform shaped，weighing 4.0–5.0 g，with a maximum weight of up to 6.0 g. The fruit skin is dark-red，and the flesh is cream white，juicy，and rich in flavor. The soluble solids content is about 16.2%，the titratable acid content is about 0.5%. It is extremely early ripening. In Chengdu，Sichuan Province，the fruit development period spans about 42–45 days，maturing in late March to early April. The plants exhibit adaptability and disease resistance. The yield can reach 7 500–7 800 kg · hm^-2 for the 4^th year trees. It is suitable for planting in similar ecological areas of plains such as Sichuan Province.
