Abstract: ‘Huamei 506’is a new Helleborus × hybridus cultivar from the cross between‘Ellen Pink’（female parent）and‘Hongbaoshi’（male parent）. The plant height is about 40–55 cm. Flowers are higher than leaves. The pedicel is erect and the flower is hanging in a drooping posture. Double flower and cup shaped，with a flower diameter of 5.8–7.0 cm. The sepal edge is smooth，and both the upper and lower surface is deep purple，the lower surface is purplish red. The development of male and female stamens is normal and they are well fruited. The initial flowering period is February for open field cultivation in Zhejiang Province.
