Abstract: The new waterlily cultivar‘Yunjin Niangniang’，an intersubgeneric waterlily cultivar，was bred by crossing with Nymphaea‘Virginia’and‘Suwanna’as maternal and paternal parents. It is a medium and large plant in height with semi-double petals. The petals are radial in shape and basically white with purple stripes. The flower has 26–32 petals and four sepals，and it is 15–18 cm in diameter and 14.0–21.5 cm in emergence height above water. The shape of the leaf is wide and oval（26–29 cm × 22–25 cm）with irregularly dentate margin. The cultivar‘Yunjin Niangniang’can live through the winter naturally in Wuhan.
