Abstract: ‘Hongling’is a new cultivar of oleaster in Shache（Yarcand）County of Kashgar Prefecture of Xinjiang. It has the characteristics of strong tree vigor，trunk type upright，branches without thorns，fruit is oval-shaped and good appearance，pulp tastes sweet and sour and delicate etc.‘Hongling’is one of the high yield tree，edible rate of the fruit is 81.80%，suitable to plant for all parts of southern Xinjiang.
