Abstract: ‘Oucui 1’is a new cucumber F1 hybrid developed by crossing strong gynoecious inbred line BY60177 as maternal parent and the heat-resistant and disease-resistant inbred line DDX70178 as paternal parent. This cultivar grows vigorously and has strong fruit-setting ability. Its fruit is straight and cylindrical without spine. This cultivar has dark green peel with fragrant flavor. The fruit length and transverse diameter is 16 and 2 cm，respectively. The single fruit weight is 125 g. This cultivar has strong disease and stress resistance and a high yield. The yield can reach 92 700 kg • hm-2. It is suitable for cultivation in spring and autumn in the southern areas of the Yangtze River.
