Abstract: ‘Xishu 3'is a new mid-maturing white-fleshed loquat cultivar which is bred by hybridization of‘Ruantiao Baisha'as the female parent and‘Guifei'as the male parent. The fruit matures in mid to late May in Chengdu. The fruit is nearly round and has good uniformity. The average fruit weight is 34.1 g. The peel is light yellow and it is easy to peel. The pulp is milk white and delicate-based slag with a lot of juice. The fruit is moderately sweet and sour and has a pleasant aroma. The soluble solids content is 15.0% to 19.2%. The number of seeds is three to five，and the average esculent rate is 70.2%. The cultivar has strong resistance to sunburn，fruit cracking and leaf spot，and it has a high fruit setting rate. The yield of three-year grafted seedlings is 11 917.5 kg • hm-2，which shows a good yielding ability.
