Abstract: In this study, AFLP technique and the method of bulked segregant analysis were used to study the F2 progeny of purified cucumber line 9110Gt(bibi)×03828(BiBi).One AFLP molecular markers TG/GCT150 linked to non-bitterness gene in cucumber with a genetic distance 6.43 cM were identified from 256 primer combinations. This band was collected and sequenced to synthesize a sequence characterized amplified region (SCAR) primer, and TG/GCT150 was converted to SCAR marker SC87 successfully.
