A New Kumquat Cultivar‘Fuyuan Jingan’

Abstract: ‘Fuyuan Jingan’is a new kumquat cultivar with spherical fruit shape. The average fruit weight is 15.6 g. It has smooth skin,yellow or orange red color,crisp texture,large amount of juice,sweet taste and few seeds. The skin does not have a pungent and spicy taste. The soluble solids content is 21%–25%,total sugar content is 16.5%,total acid content is 0.18%,vitamin C content is 445 mg • kg-1. The yield is 3 500–4 500 kg • hm-2 in full season. The cultivar has strong stress resistance.
