A New Mid-ripening Table Grape Cultivar‘Huapu Heifeng’

Abstract:

‘Huapu Heifeng’is a mid-ripening table grape cultivar derived from‘Takatsuma’seedling selection. Its average fruit cluster weight is 553.3 g,and the average single berry weight is 10.8 g. The berry is oval,purple-black,soft and juicy with strawberry flavor. The soluble solids content is 19.6%,the titratable acid content is 0.46%. Berrys mature in late August in Xingcheng. It has high yield,early bearing,strong tolerance to cold and dry,and moderate resistance to salt and alkali. Depending on the region,the yield should be controlled in 11 250-30 000 kg · hm-2.
