A New Early Maturing Kiwifruit Cultivar‘Jinyi’

Abstract: ‘Jinyi’kiwifruit is an early-maturing cultivar selected from seedlings of Actinidia chinensis var. chinensis. The fruit is short cylindrical,while the fruit skin is dark green with sparse villose and small and dense fruit dots. The average fruit weight is 70 g and maximum fruit weight can reach 110 g. The flesh is yellowish green,tender and has a good flavor. The soluble solids content is 17.0%–20.0%,total sugar content is about 12.1%,titratable acid content is 1.28% and vitamin C content is 1 322 mg · kg-1 fresh weight. It matures in early September in Wuhan. Flourishing time tree production 22 500 kg · hm-2.
