A New Late-ripening and Good Quality Peach Variety ‘Meishuai’

Abstract: ‘Meishuai’peach was released from a cross of‘Okubo’and ‘90-1’ (Bayuecui ×Jingyu). The fruit is round. The attractive red blush covers 60% - 80% of the skin surface. The average fruit mass is 275 g. The soluble solid content is 12.6%. The flesh iswhite, firm, sweet, and freestone with a good eating quality. The fruit ripen in mid-August with a very high productivity. It can be grown in north China, northwest China and middle China.
