A New Extremely Late-ripening Peach Cultivar‘Zhongnong Dongmi’

Abstract: ‘Zhongnong Dongmi’is a new extremely late-ripening peach cultivar selected from seedlings of‘Yingshuang Hongmi’בShenzhou Mitao’. The fruit is big with average weight about 196.2 g. Its peel is pale yellow. The flesh is pale green,very hard,non-melting and sweet. The soluble soilds content is 15.1%,the titratable acid content is 0.12%,the vitamin C content is 0.12 mg • g-1. It has good characteristics for storage and transportation,which ripens in late October in Juxian,Rizhao City,Shandong Province. The yield is up to 30 000 kg • hm-2.
