Abstract: In the experiment, the morphological and physiological changes of tomato at different growth stages under low light were studied. The results showed that the tomato seedlings had a tendency of overgrowing under low
light. Low light at seedling stage led to the increase of SLW, LAR, Chlorophyll Content, Chlorophyll b/ a value and percentage of fruit setting and the decrease of soluble sugar and protein content. While the low light at
blooming and setting stage led to the increase of POD activity and soluble sugar content and the decrease of the percentage of fruit settings, comparing with that at seedling stage.
