Abstract: Genome relationships of Chinese Cabbage species were studied by molecular marker technology AFLP. 4173 bands were detected with 10 pairs of primers. Clustering analysis showed that it is distant between turnip and Chinese Cabbage ; Jiguancai (Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis Makino) and Maobaicai ( Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis Makino) are close to head Chinese Cabbage ( B . campestris L. ssp. pekinensis Olsson) which is distant to other non-head Chinese Cabbage varieties. The relationship among non-head Chinese Cabbage (B . campestris L. ssp. chi-nensis Makino ) varieties including Taicai , Caixin , Chaiwu , Jianganbai and Ma’erduobai was
analyzed on molecular level in this paper , which provides some information of origins and evolution of Chinese Cabbage.
